Double Starr is a working studio and gallery that occupies the restored Starr Building which was erected in 1890. It’s located across from the old Santa Fe Depot in the Tannery District of Guthrie, Oklahoma, one of the top twelve historic cities in the nation. The two stars on the front are symbols for Steven Starr, the original owner and proprietor. The 18” thick rubble walls are built of native sandstone and mortar made of lime, sand and horsehair.

Visit the studio Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 – 4:00. Watch Nancy at work and have your books personalized by Sheldon.
